Q: Are the machines easy to use?
A: Sure are! We'll mix the first batch for you and show you how everything works. You'll get printed instructions, and you'll have our cell phone number in case you have any questions.
Q: What does Margaritas-A-Go-Go provide and what does the customer provide?
A: Margaritas-A-Go-Go provides the machines, mix (2 containers are included with each machine), mixing jugs, a decorated cart, straws, cups, salt rimmers, shade umbrellas, and extension cords. The customer provides a regular 110v power source, liquor, and water (no ice is needed).
Q: How much mix will be needed?
A: Each container of mix will make between 40 and 50 nine ounce drinks. Each machine has two barrels so that means between 80 and 100 nine ounce drinks. We recommend one batch for every 25-30 guests. Extra drink mix can be purchased for $18 per container. You'll only be charged for opened containers of mix.
Q: How much liquor do I need to use?
A: With our concentrated mix, you should use about one liter of alcohol for every container of mix. Total yield is about 2 1/2 gallons. Of course, you can vary this towards your own taste.
Q: How long does it take to freeze a batch?
A: It depends on the temperature where the machines are, but generally 45 minutes to an hour. You can decrease this time by using chilled water and liquor for mixing. Once your first batch is made, you can add mix on the fly to avoid waiting.
Q: How far ahead of time should I make reservations?
A: The earlier the better. We have a limited supply of mix on hand so to ensure you get the flavor you want, we need at least two weeks notice. We can often handle last minute requests, but you will be limited to the flavors in stock.
